zeb is a proud partner of AWS (Amazon Web Services), the flexible and reliable cloud service from Amazon. Due to the enormous functional spectrum of AWS, from infrastructure solutions to machine learning, as well as the scalability of individual components, this partnership enables us to always offer our customers a high-quality service for operating zeb.control as a SaaS solution.
Cloud computing is the distribution of resources relevant to information technology via a decentralized network. The cloud thus acts like a data cloud, which contains, for example, software or computing capacities that can be accessed via the Internet without the need for local entities of these to exist beforehand. The cloud model is contrasted with the on-premise solution.
A data warehouse is the software-technical implementation of a data management system that is geared towards the implementation and support of analysis processes within a company. Through the integrated analysis tools, the processing of large amounts of data is efficiently designed, which thus enables targeted decision-making.
The on-premise concept is a usage model for (licensed) software that is operated using the company's own resources (e.g., server and computing power). The integrating user has full control over the software and data. This solution is therefore the opposite of cloud computing.
The software-as-a-service concept is a variant of cloud computing in which the distribution of IT resources focuses in particular on software components such as applications and data management. Here, responsibility for the operation of the software is partially transferred to a service provider.
